This beautiful painting needs to be enjoyed in person. The paint has been put down on board in what may have been quite an unusual method for its time. Some areas are thinly applied as a wash over linework, other areas are heavily laden with paint. It has a free flowing energy. Hydrangeas are featured at the bottom.
