Shipping and Returns
We use Australia Post for delivery of most products. Where possible, recycled wrapping materials are used when packaging and posting. All items are inspected and carefully packed before shipping.
At present, estimated dispatch time for parcels is 3-10 business days. We will keep you informed of your order status and notify you by phone or email when your order has been dispatched.
Return of Damaged Goods
Many items for sale are antique, vintage, repurposed or made from recycled materials. Customers purchasing such items accept they are purchasing an item with obvious signs of wear and tear according to the items age and history.
Please notify Hens Teeth Trading within 48 hours if you receive a broken, faulty or incorrect product. Upon notification and return, Hens Teeth Trading will replace or refund any goods that are deemed damaged, faulty or incorrect as per order. If damage occurs during transit, we advise that you notify Australia Post immediately.
Under these circumstances we will provide you with instructions on how to return your goods. Customers are required to cover additional shipping costs of replacement items.
Exchange of Goods
Hens Teeth Trading will exchange any undamaged items within 21 days of purchase on the proviso that the items are returned in their original condition, including unopened and undamaged packaging. All items must be accompanied by an original receipt/tax invoice and an explanation for the exchange.
Postage charges on exchanges are non refundable for incorrect choice and products are to be returned at the customers own cost.
Please include your name and daytime contact details with the return package to ensure prompt processing and re-delivery.
